Dear Editor,
Thanks for all your support to the 2006 Cattle Drive. Our sponsors played a big part in making it happen; and it was a success. Hope the ones that were able to come on the ride enjoyed it. Thanks again!

Dear Editor,
It’s a great time for the Seminole Tribe and your ancestors!! I read the news online that Seminole Tribe purchased the Hard Rock franchise and I have to tell you how proud I am of you and your people. For tooo long now the Indians have been systematically purged from society; God bless you all for standing up and taking back what is owed to you and your wonderful people.
I’m of Cherokee descent and am very proud of my Indian heritage. I hope the other Tribes will follow your suit and also begin to take back what is rightfully theirs.
I believe the U.S. government should give all the Indians back their lands and their original freedoms; or perhaps if Tribes like the Seminoles can show their power and strength in the business world, perhaps that could serve as justice as well.
My deepest heartfelt congratulations to you all.
Peace and love to you and your proud Tribe,
Lisa Shepherd

Dear Editor,
My name is Gina Weatherly and I live in Richmond, Ind. about 85 miles from Indianapolis.
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed you website. It’s so full of information. There lots of stuff to read and great pictures to look at. I have made my own scrapbook. I go to your site everyday and look for new updates and pictures to add to my scrapbook.
I would love someday to come and visit but it’s a long way from where I am from.
Have an awesome day and happy holidays,
Gina Weatherly
Dear Editor,
Congratulations on your buy out of Hard Rock. We thought the news was fantastic when we first heard it today over here in the UK. It’s about time huge firms such as yours are put into the hands of true Americans. Next time I walk into a Hard Rock I will do so with great pride.
Good luck for the future,
Paul

Dear Editor,
Hello. Best of luck with the Hard Rock venture! After finishing a college research paper on the Trail of Tears and discovering the horrors inflicted on all the Tribes, I have nothing but support for your business.
My family will probably order the first burgers under your ownership as soon as we can get to New York!

Dear Editor,
I just wanted to congratulate you on your recent accomplishment in the purchase of the Hard Rock Café chain. May our maker be with your Tribe and bring you much success. Great job!

Dear Editor,
I am an American of Cherokee ancestry on my father’s side and I have made my home in New Zealand for the last 11 and a half years. Although born in North Carolina, I grew up mostly in Volusia County, Fla.
I was watching BBC World this morning and saw that the Seminole Tribe has just acquired the Hard Rock Café franchise and I think it’s wonderful. It will help ensure that the Seminole Tribe is able to maintain its viability and vibrancy as a unique culture.
I know you will be successful.
New Zealand, also known as Aotearoa (Land Of The Long White Cloud) was originally settled by Maori who originated from Polynesia. Through determination, belief and the strong desire to remain a strong presence in their homeland, the Maori have, like the Seminoles, worked hard to obtain the tools to stay strong as a culture. Fortunately, New Zealanders, both Maori and Pakeha (white/European) are a fairly united people and all take pride in many elements of Maoridom.
I really enjoy living in such a bi-cultural environment and hope that someday the U.S. will recognize and show respect to the people who, for far too long, have been marginalized and forgotten. I know from my experiences here that it is possible.
You are on the right path and do so with a dignity and grace that should serve as a fine example to all.
Best of luck and although I have never been to a Hard Rock Café, despite having traveled a great deal, I most definitely will now!

Dear Editor,
I was happy to see the news item about the Hard Rock Café chain! I never went before but I’ll go to Hard Rock Nashville now! Congratulations from a former Floridian supporter!
Sincerely,
Lisa
Dear Editor,
I want to extend my heart felt congratulations to your Tribe on their purchasing of the Hard Rock Cafés! This is wonderful news indeed.
This, I hope, will be only the beginning not just for you but for all the Tribes of the U.S. Hopefully all Native Americans in the future will have casinos of their own so they can be self-reliant.
I hope to visit your casino soon in the future. Once again let me say how happy I am that your Tribe will be “rocking out” so to speak.
Sincerely,
Fred Martinez
Dear Editor,
Does the Tribe have an annual cattle drive in which non-Tribal horseman may participate? We would be very interested in participating if so.
Thanks,
Fran Dann
Dear Ms. Dann,
Yes, they do have participation from non-riders. This year’s drive was sort of secret to Tribal citizens, or so it seemed. If the Tribe is providing cattle and workers, I think other members should participate. I work right here in the Cattle & Range Offices everyday and I heard about it the day before.
Sincerely,

Dear Editor,
Good luck on the new business acquisition of the Hard Rock. And one day soon: slots on the reservations; if Governor Charlie is smart. It would be a win-win for both sides. From a Non-Native American Floridian point of view, I would rather you guys run the slots than a bunch of outsiders.
