![]() By Paula Cassels HOLLYWOOD — On July 22, the Hollywood Tribal Office Auditorium served as the site for the 2002-2003 student incentive awards. Preschool cooks started the evening off by serving a buffet dinner featuring most of the kid’s favorites like goulash, yellow rice w/chicken, corn, green beans, rice and hamburger gravy, fried pumpkin or banana bread. Tribal Officials Chairman Mitchell Cypress, President Moses Osceola and Hollywood Representative Max B. Osceola Jr., express their appreciation of the student’s achievements and to the parents for the success of their children. Hosting this year’s presentation awards was Elrod Bowers, who introduced the children on stage by grade levels, from preschool to higher education. With proud smiles on their faces they were greeted by Chairman Mitchell Cypress, President Moses Osceola and Hollywood Council Representative Max B. Osceola Jr., the kids received a well deserved handshake with their certificates, plus a group photos. Monetary awards and backpacks were given to the students after they exited the stage. Special recognition was given to the Hollywood Parents Advisory Committee, Chairwomen Virginia Osceola, Vice Chairwomen Melissa Demayo, Secretary/Treasurer Virginia Mitchell, and many parents whom donated their time through out the year.
