Description:
Supervises and coordinates environmental activities relating to pollution prevention, environmental planning, conservation, land development, storm water management, waterway management, coastal zone management, or related issues. Interprets, applies, and enforces the provisions of environmental regulations and other applicable federal state, and local codes, laws, regulations, specifications, standards, policies and procedures, researches codes/regulations issues as needed; initiates any actions necessary to correct deviations or violations. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Zoology, etc., supplemented by 5-yrs of progressively responsible previous experience and/or training that includes in a related area of work such as environmental program administration, pollution control, water quality management, wastewater treatment operations, water sample analysis, environmental assessment, ecological impact analysis, etc. Interest in the STOF history, culture and organization. Able to travel to all STOF Reservations. Excellent organizational and administrative skills including English written and oral communication skills. Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft software programs and add-ins.
