Welcome To The Tribal Fair!

HOLLYWOOD - The Seminole Tribe of Florida welcomes American Indian dancers, performers and artisans from more than 100 tribes across the Americas to the largest native event in South Florida - the 30th annual Seminole Tribal Fair, as always on the second weekend of February.

This year's program marks the first fair of the new Millenium and a return of the traditional competition American Indian powwow to a lineup of native fun and entertainment, Feb. 8-11, at the Okalee Museum Tribal Fairgrounds, near the corner of State Road 7 and Stirling Road on the Hollywood Seminole Indian Reservation.

Seminole culture will be on wide display with just about every Seminole craftsperson, artist and vendor in attendance, with other true American Indians in a spectacular marketplace that stretches throughout the fairgrounds

The weekend will include Talent, Archery, and Log Peeling; fine arts and crafts will be on display, in a competition by ages, at the Living Village area.

Alligator wrestling and a panther show will also thrill visitors; last year more than 25,000 visitors were entertained at the Seminole Tribal Fair.
