Schedule of Entertainment
Children's Village

In addition to curriculum-friendly, hands-on activity tables, there will be entertainment all day on the Children's Village stage. "In addition to performing on the main stage, each performer has agreed to perform on the Children's Village stage in a more intimate environment where kids can ask questions and meet the performers up close," says Shana Banana, coordinator and emcee of the Children's Village."All of the entertainers hired to perform at DNA 2001 were personally invited by Chief Jim Billie. They are some of his favorite native performers," says Peter B. Gallagher, producer of the powwow.

At the end of each day, there will be a super-duper-shake-your-shakers Children's Parade, in which children can display the crafts that they made, shake their powwow shakers, wear beaded necklaces and patchwork headbands, and walk through the other areas of the powwow in a long, colorful line.
